When not in lab… Emy, enjoys watching her partner cook. In occasion, she will join to help make delicious Puerto Rican food. She also loves playing and cuddling with her senior fur baby, Antonio. As a comedy fan, she spends the rest of her free time improving her comedic skills, such as punch line delivery and dead-pan humor.

When not in lab…You can catch Tori in a dance class at Urban Movement Arts, singing on the Worship team or in a Life Group at City Life Philly, hanging out with friends, or cheering on her three younger siblings. She also enjoys creating artwork, making music, attending concerts and plays, boppin’ around the city, and experimenting with different hairstyles.

When not in lab….you can find Whitney playing with her 2 Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, attending a Philadelphia Union soccer game, or hanging out with family at the horse racetrack (her parents are Thoroughbred racehorse trainers). She also enjoys painting, playing tennis, reading a good psychological/mystery fiction novel, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Go Birds!

Whitney Reid, MD

When not in lab… Lauren enjoys playing tennis, doing yoga, and listening to, as well as making, music. You can almost always find her with an iced Matcha latte in-hand and earbuds in. On the side, she is the Communications Chair for Penn Graduate Women in STEM and Engineering, a mentor for undergraduate students in the Graduate School Mentoring Initiative, and an active member of the Immunology Graduate Student Association.

When not in lab…Suzanna can be found exploring Philadelphia,  painting/drawing, and reading a good book. She loves animals, flowers, and the color blue, and is always radiating positive energy. Suzanna is an active member of the local Penn community, having co-chaired the IGG recruitment committee, assisting with retreat planning, and volunteering at Philabundance and Morris Animal Refuge
